I left Comber Grove in 1999. Just after I left year 3, I moved to Bromley.
I have a brother called Ayo and a sister called Ronke. They both completed their time there. Comber Grove, I wish I had finished there.. However, in life you have to move on. Ms Matthews was a great teacher... I never did learn how to hold my pen properly though hahahaha. Ms Nalder, Ms Coates and obviously Mr Kent, were definitely people I will always remember. I am currently... studying at A Level... Law, Politics and Sociology. It is funny how time flies. I wish the school and everyone still involved in it GOOD LUCK and to all the people who have passed through the school doors too... past and present.

My daughters Isabelle and Miriam went to Comber Grove. Izzie is now off to art school and Mims doing her A levels - how time flies. Their older friends who were at Comber have recently graduated from Imperial College in London, Edinburgh College of Art and St Andrews, others are off to Oxford, RADA and Bournmouth to study - and these are only the ones that I know about. . Thanks to Mr Kent and all the teachers at Comber Grove for giving them such a good start to their education.

I've left this school now, but it was FAB!!! I played lots of instruments. I'll never forget Comber Grove. I'll always remember it as the No. 1 school in the world.

I'm going to the Juniors and i can't wait because Mr Kent has done fab summer plays such as Seaside Rock, and Pinocchio. We have earned lots of trophies and there's a lot of poetry and things.

Hi I left in 1990 i was in Ms Charman's class. I have great memories of Comber Grove and I'm very happy to see Mr Kent still there. I remember going to the shop to get his apples!!! I'm now Mrs Tweedie I got married october 06 I have two lovely boys 8 and 4. I love this website, It's lovely and bright. Well I'll keep you updated and look foward to reading the comments in the near future.x.

I left Comber Grove, think it was in 1991 (ages ago!!) but still remember our wonderful school plays. I am so happy to hear Mr Kent is still there, I am now hoping to send my daughter to Comber Grove soon then he would have taught three generations of my family as Mr Kent was also my mothers guitar teacher!! Keep up the good work!

Comber Grove is such a great school and even though I'm in Year Six and leaving this year I do not want to leave Comber Grove.

I left Comber Grove about 7 years ago. The time I spent there was amazing and set me up for life. There is no primary school like it, although most of the teachers I knew have left, some like Mrs.Matthews, Mr.Kent and Ms.Charman I think are still there and what amazing teachers they were to me and continue to be. I have such fond memories of the school and everyone in it, a wonderful place to be taught.

i only hope it's as lovely a place to be as it was for me...

I love this school! I left in 1982 (yes a long time ago!) but have the fondest memories of my classmates and teachers. I had so much fun! My older brother Hanif also attended Comber Grove. A big hello to any teachers who remember me! A big shout out to my classmates Lianne, Shanella, Mackie, Lorraine, Fatima, Alison, Louise, Kevin, Patrick, Mark, David, Tony, Spencer, Richard and Billy. I will always remember our wonderful school plays, our summer fairs and Mr Kent's educational assemblies! I am glad the school is still going strong and some of the old teachers are still there!

I like the school and all the pupils and teachers are very kind. I play lots of different instruments and my favorite instrument is the violin and i love playing king ball at play time.

I am in year two and I am having a wonderful time at Comber Grove primary school and i have lots of great friends and the teachers are really kind and friendly and I also think that we have a very nice head teacher who is Mr Kent

My name is Temi and I am in nursery and my teachers name is MISS.PINDAR and I have lots of friends. We have a lot of fun and we also do lots of painting. We went to the farm on our school trip and I am growing a really big sunflower.

I left in 2002 and I'm about to start as a prefect in Yr 11 at Archbishops Tenisons, but Tenisons can never be compared to Comber! I have some great memories of Comber. Hi everyone, it's Georgia from Class 14! how is everyone?? I'm in Year 8 now... how time has flyed!! I love this school. Everyone is kind and helpful . Mr Kent is wonderful .Thank you for all of the after school clubs that we have and a special thank you to all the teachers who run them. We do miss Auntie Lou and martial arts!

I think Comber Grove Primary School is the best school in the world because we get to do lots of activities and every thing we want. If we had to vote for a primary school I will choose Comber Grove cause we have great teachers like Mr Kent our headteacher, Mrs Matthews the deputy which is leaving and many more. I think Comber Grove school is the best school in Camberwell because it has good education and most of all Mr Kent! He is the most best headmaster pupils can have.
What else would you want? I have learned as much as my head can take in. With lots of activities to do how can you get bored. It is the best school in the UK. What else would a pupil what ?

This is a useful and captivating site. As a student teacher at the school for only a week, I can say that the atmosphere is really friendly and definitely learning focused. Thanks for letting me do my practice at such a great school and work with such interesting staff and pupils!

This is a thoroughly stimulating web sight. It provides an exciting picture of a well run school. As a new Governor it gives me considerable pride to be involved with such a stimulating school.

I love this school even though we have to do hard work (well, every school does work) I still love it. I get to hang with my friends at playtime, and maybe I might get in trouble sometimes but that doesn't make me not like this school. It's fun in a way like the activities we do.. Like my class (class 11) are doing a project about recycling, my group are doing heat. We're trying to convince everyone in the school to become an ECO school.
Anyway enough about that, Comber Grove school is a lovely school to go to, so please be free to come. Also our headmaster Mr-Kent is really good, well sometimes he can get angry but thats if u get on his bad side.Not like he really has one. But as I said before I love this school!

Hey Comber Grove,this is the best Primary school EVERRRRRRR, I didn't want to leave, just looking at the pictures reminded me of how much fun I had. I left in 2001. I'm in year 11 now at St Martin in the Fields, it's nowere near as good as Comber. I hope Mr Kent hasn't forgotten me cause I definitely haven't forgotten him (I remember he use to drive a little old red Mini). Just want to say hi to all the teachers that taught me, like Miss Barrett, Miss Wolfe, Miss Charman and all the rest.. ooo yeah and Miss Doyle I still haven't forgotten when you used to teach us Jungle dancing!!!!!!!!!! (me and Lorisha still remember the dance)

Me and Billy think the website is great. We are in Madrid having a lovely time. Lucas Petter's story made us laugh. We are learning to snowboard and speak Spanish. We have seen a Roman aquaduct and some Salvador Dali paintings. Adios.

Hi Comber Grove! I think this site is great. It reminded me of Comber Grove as I am a former pupil. I remember a few of the teachers such as Mr Kent, Mrs Matthews, Mr Forrester (my year 6 teacher) and Mr O'Brien. I haven't been to Comber Grove in ages, and stumbled upon the website by accident. The school seems exactly the same, and I miss being a pupil!

I love this school, i'ts great. I don't want to leave the school. I know that this school is the best .I play the violin and it's great. Ialso like playing king-ball. I think I am good at it.

I like Mr Kent he is very funny. When I first went to Comber Grove it was very scary but people made me feel welcome. I hope Mr Kent won't retire yet because he is the best head teacher I have ever met. In PE he helped me which was really nice of him. he cares about every one but he's only strict when he needs to be!!!!!!!!!!!
