We're Year 5 children and we took part in the Southwark Carnival this year. Our two Year 5 classes worked for two days with artists from the Camberwell Arts Project and they taught us some clever things... |

It was very hard work but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We constructed butterflies and a huge fish in four sections, using lots of colourful tissue paper, canes and glue. It was quite a job to get the model downstairs... |
In the photos you can see us dressed in red, and some of our teachers who went along with the parade, and the giant fish. Once the parade had finished, the fish went back to school and it's now suspended in our top hall for visitors to see...
