Pinocchio joins the puppet theatre owned by the nasty Poppino Brothers, and he gets tricked into signing a contract that will keep him in the show until he gets very old. Fortunately he finds a way to escape.... | |||

Pinocchio is swallowed by an enormous whale, and he is trapped inside its stomach. He also finds a band of pirates there! Pinocchio has an idea.. if he can make the whale sneeze, it might shoot them into the sea... | |||

Pinocchio is robbed of his money by the Cat and Fox, who persuade him to bury his money in a field. When he wakes up, all his money has gone.He hears some singers coming along the road, advertising Poppino's Puppet Theatre... |

The Poppino Brothers let Pinocchio perform a song and dance. He's a success, and the brothers make him sign a crooked contract to keep him in the theatre. Pinocchio tells the puppets to jump on the Poppino Brothers and tie them up with their strings... |

At the Carvers' Competition the woodcarvers try to persuade the villagers that the articles they have carved from wood should win the Golden Chisel. The villagers inspect all the carved objects with great interest....

It's the annual Carvers' Competition in Taletello, and Risotto, the Mayor's Assistant, collects up all the objects for judging. Geppetto brings a big box with the marionette he's carved. The Mayor asks Signor Chipchoppio, to judge the competiton, and Geppetto wins... | |||

Pinocchio persuades the pirates to look around for some firewood to make a fire. If he can make the whale sneeze, they'll be out, and he can get back to Taletello to find his father again...
