UNIFORM AND OTHER ESSENTIALS
Comber Grove was one of the first county primary schools in Southwark to have a uniform. We believe it is important because it suggests a strong identity and is inexpensive for parents to buy. The children designed the uniform, back in 1981, and we still keep the same motif. The basic colours are blue and grey. We sell sweatshirts and a fleece, as shown in the photos, and summer shirts with the school motif.
| Children staying to lunch can either bring a packed lunch, or have a cooked one. Our meals are of very good quality. They must be paid for either daily or weekly. Infant children are provided with fruit every day at playtime, and the Juniors have playtime fruit three times a week. It is free for the Infants. We sell book bags with the school motif, ideal for carrying reading books, homework and music sheets, etc, home. |
