WHAT'S HAPPENING ON SCHOOL COUNCIL?
 | RECENTLY WE HAVE DISCUSSED...
1. Fund raising ideas. Things like the Christmas Disco, the Commando Course, our many concerts etc are all good fund raisers. We're thinking of, perhaps, a talent show or an additional disco.
2. School Council was given a budget and they decided to spend it on additional games equipment this year, including table tennis tables. | ||

3. The after school clubs are very popular and council reps have been asked for more. This is dependent on teachers' time, but new clubs do happen during the year, such as the technology club, which has just started.
4. Children asked for more things to do at lunchtime. We have done this for the Juniors, but we now need to look at the provision for Infants.
5. Children asked if a school magazine could be started. We talked for some time about this, and one is currently in production. | ||

6. Phasing out of biscuits at playtime caused a lot of discussion, but the general agreement is that fruit was a good move.
7. Children complained about the poor water fountains, and these are all being changed in the summer holiday.
8. Children were unhappy about the arrangements for wet playtimes, and we are looking into this at the moment.
