Here are thirteen good reasons...... 1. We are an exceptionally popular and well established inner city school, always oversubscribed. The school won an achievement award in 2003.
2. We recruit top quality teachers, and we have no difficulty finding teachers, as people want to work here.
3. No class has more than 24 children.
4. Our parental ballots tell us that we have an exceptionally low level of bullying and racist incidents.
5. The quality of work is high. Children work with good quality materials and are expected to give of their best.
6. Drama is featured strongly. The Headteacher and Music Co-ordinator write the famous 'Flying Pumpkin' range of children's musicals which are performed all over the country.
7. We feel art and music are very important. Every child in Key Stage 2 is invited to learn at least one instrument. Many play three.
8. Our SATS results are always good.
9. We have a high standard of behaviour. We have never excluded or expelled anyone.
